Coinbase Commerce allows you to be your own bank with all the benefits of a hosted service. It's no longer necessary to build and maintain infrastructure to monitor the blockchain; stay focused on running your business and leave the rest to us. Using public keys created on signup for each cryptocurrency, Coinbase is able to generate payment addresses on your behalf and continuously monitor the blockchain to detect when payments are made.
Customers can now pay you directly from their computer or mobile device using the blockchain as the settlement network. With cryptocurrencies you no longer need to collect and store payment credentials or sensitive customer information.

How To Enable Coinbase on AmeriCommerce
To enable the ability to accept Coinbase, you will first need a Coinbase Commerce account. Once you have an account, login to your Coinbase Commerce account, click on Settings, Create and copy the API key. Then in your AmeriCommerce store admin Navigate to Tools > Apps & Addons > Coinbase and paste in the API key.
Next we'll setup the Webhook. In your Coinbase account, go to Settings > Webhook subscriptions click on "Show shared secret" and copy it to your store admin in Tools > Apps & Addons > Coinbase App Settings.
From there, click on "Add an endpoint" and copy the Webhook Endpoint from your Coinbase App settings in your online store's admin and paste it to the endpoint field like below.
Click on the details link next to the Webhook you just added. Then click on Edit Events, enable charge:confirmed and charge:failed.
Once that is done go back to the Coinbase page in your store admin and enable the integration like below.
Now you can allow your customers to pay with cryptocurrency using their Coinbase account!
